After days of steady decline following its record high earlier this month, the price of gold in Nepal saw an uptick today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs 800 per tola, reaching Rs 196,300, compared to Rs 195,500 per tola on Sunday.

Silver prices also registered a modest increase, climbing by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 2,315 per tola, up from Rs 2,310 per tola the previous day.

Gold had touched a historic peak of Rs 199,400 per tola on Shrawan 21, before entering a downward trend in the following weeks.
