After a brief surge on Wednesday, gold price in the domestic market failed to maintain upward momentum and fell by Rs 800 per tola on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 193,600 per tola, down from Rs 194,400 per tola a day earlier.

Similarly, silver prices also witnessed a notable drop, with the metal trading at Rs 2,270 per tola today, marking a decline of Rs 40 from Wednesday’s rate of Rs 2,310 per tola.
